St. Clair Shores Extends Deadline for City Manager Applications

Candidates for the vacant city manager position in St. Clair Shores now have until May 24 to apply.

St. Clair Shores City Council voted May 6 to extend the application period for city manager candidates until May 24.

The city hired the Mercer Group to conduct the nationwide city manager search to fill the vacancy left following the resignation by Ben Hughes on Nov. 1.

The first deadline was May 10.

According to acting city manager Mike Smith, as of May 8 the city had received 17 applications for the position.
