President Barack Obama: The president's campaign in Macomb County will originate from headquarters in Sterling Heights. The president hasn't scheduled any campaign stops in Macomb, as of yet, but his supporters are on the ground. In a recent speech by Congressman Sander Levin, D-Royal Oak, to Macomb Levin praised the effect Obama's policies have had on Macomb, namely the automotive rescue, drop in unemployment and added investment through the Recovery Act.

GOP Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney: The Michigan-born candidate kept his comments focused on the economy when he in February and later won the state's GOP presidential primary, taking 46 percent of the vote in St. Clair Shores.
