Dear Editor, Where's the Republican representative's response to the same questions? Where's the objective reporting? To Ms. Roberts - EVERYONE now has to pay 2% more in Federal income tax due to fiscal irresponsibility. As a self-employed 1099 contracted worker, I now have to hold back 45% of my paycheck to pay JUST my INCOME taxes. ADD IN all taxes from property tax, phone, cable, sales, gasoline, utilities, etc. EVERY American (rich, poor, and in between) is paying close to 60% of wages to support more failed government programs & mis-management. How about focusing your attention on holding yourself and other politicians accountable to our tax dollars, lessen the "nanny & police" state you've helped to create, and help lower our overall tax burden from almost 60% to 30 or 40%?
