Selfridge to Hold Training Exercise

Personnel from Selfridge Air National Guard Base will conduct training exercises today that will include sirens, lights and traffic in and around the base.

The 127th Wing will conduct a major accident response exercise today at Selfridge Air National Guard Base.

Base officials said people in the area of the Harrison Township base may notice heavy response vehicle traffic, sirens and lights on the flight line during this exercise.

Members of the unit will conduct a training today that will allow them to "comb checklists and response activities related to a multiple aircraft on-ground collision, fuel spill and possible casualties" according to a release.
