Second-Grader Sets Creates Polling Place in His Home

The Huffington Post reports a second-grader in St. Clair Shores set up his own polling in his home after voting with his parents.

Dave Nielsen shared a story with HuffPost that his 7-year-old son, Max, set up a polling place in their St. Clair Shores home after watching his parents vote.

Max Nielsen, a second-grader, set up the polling place with ballots that included two names—his name and Mitt Romney.

"I had the honor of voting this morning, and will have the pleasure of voting for probably most of the day," Nielsen told HuffPost.

Unofficial polls in the Nielsen household have Max leading Romney, according to the story.
