News Brief: Assessing Department to Verify Properties

Personnel from the city's assessing department will be measuring properties Friday.

Personnel from the St. Clair Shores Assessing Department will be out Friday measuring properties in the area of Harper and Little Mack, south of 11 Mile.

Chief Assessor Teri Socia and Vicky Shipman will be measuring properties from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. as weather allows.

The state mandates that communities verify 20 percent of their residential property records each year.
