Levin to Face Volaric in 9th Congressional District Race

Macomb County businessman Don Volaric will face U.S. Rep. Sander Levin in the general election to represent Michigan's 9th Congressional District in Washington.

Macomb County businessman won the Republican primary Tuesday in the 9th Congressional District Primary Tuesday to face incumbent Sander Levin.

With 100 percent of Oakland and Macomb County precincts reporting, Volaric defeated Gregory Dildilian in the Republican primary and will face Levin in the general election, according to unofficial results.

Levin, who was unopposed in the primary, has served in Congress since 1982.
