John Caron Selected to Open Council Seat

John Caron, who is involved in various volunteer committees in St. Clair Shores, was selected Monday to fill the open seat on city council.

"I want to get deep in the details to understand that for the residents," said Caron.

He added that he is "looking forward to the challenge" of serving on council.

Caron, who is on the city's activities committee and the, will serve the remaining two years of Walby's term. The 1989 graduate was also a member of Jaycees and has also been involved with helping City Council candidates since 1995.

Council members stated that there were many qualified candidates who applied for the open seat, and the choosing one was a challenge.
