I-94 Resurfacing Project Nearing Completion

The I-94 resurfacing project between 11 Mile and Masonic Blvd. is nearly complete.

The Michigan Department of Transportation is reporting that the I-94 resurfacing project between 11 Mile Road and Masonic Blvd. is nearing completion.

According to a release, eastbound and westbound traffic will return to normal Monday. The ramps will be open also, with the following exceptions:

  • Eastbound I-94 exit and entrance at 12 Mile Road
  • Gratiot Ave entrance to westbound I-94

These ramps are scheduled to open on Sunday, Oct. 6.

There will be intermittent lane closures in October for punch list work, which will be conducted during off-peak hours or on weekends.
