City council called to order.

Kaitlyn Snyder, also from St. Joan of Arc school, honored for taking first place in the state free throw competition.

7:13 p.m.

Members of the Sno (Shoveling Neighbors Out) Commandos honored for thier volunteer efforts to clear snow this past winter. The volunteers cleared the homes of 42 homes of seniors and those in need in the community during snow emergencies and snow events.

"We have the best people ready and willing to be volunteers in St. Clair Shores," said Mayor Robert Hison.

7:30 p.m.

Council hears from state officials regarding the do not eat fish advisory issued by the Michigan Department of Community Health. State officials urge anglers to not catch carp and catfish in Lake St. Clair as testing continues.

8:15 p.m.

Council approves outdoor music at Brownie's on the Lake.

8:23 p.m.

The Lake House is recognized by city council as a non-profit organization. The Lake House offers support for those who have been touched by cancer. Also, a treasures sale and open house will be held from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. June 18.

9:12 p.m.

City approves 2011-2012 budget by a vote of 5-1. The budget includes no major cuts to city services and allows the city to draw about $880,000 from reserve funds. This could be reduced through retirements, state revenue sharing and other cost savings issues.

9:30 p.m.

Council approves revised fee structure for community development and clerk's department.

9:36 p.m.

Council agrees to enter into an agreement with Macomb County Department of Roads for concrete repairs on Harper between 9 and 11 Mile roads.
