Biggby Construction Slowed But Not Stalled, City Says
The planned Harper and 11 Mile Biggby coffee shop has been slowed, but will move forward, the St. Clair Shores city manager said at a recent City Council meeting.
The city is working with the developer of the at Harper and 11 Mile, St. Clair Shores City Manger Ben Hughes said at a recent City Council meeting.
Construction on the new coffee shop is being held up by approval from the state due to contamination at the former gas station, but Hughes said "the developer is not backing down."
Additionally, he expects the Butter Run Saloon on the southeast corner of Harper and 11 Mile to open by mid-June.
