Stolen Gun Found During Traffic Stop

Driving under the influence

A 34-year-old Roseville man was arrested May 24 near Harper and Revere on drug and driving while license suspended charges. Police were called for a report for a report of a possible drunk driver. Officers found the vehicle in a parking lot, and as an officer approached, the vehicle began to back up. He was ordered to stop, and get out of the vehicle. The man had "glossy" eyes and had a "faint odor of intoxicants," according to a police report. After a check of his record, officers discovered he had a suspended license. As he was patted down and officers found a loaded gun that was reported stolen out of West Bloomfield. Officers also found drugs in the car. He was arrested on possession of stolen property, possession of synthetic narcotic, possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon and driving while license suspended charges.

Uncooperative customer couldn't pay bill 

A 23-year-old Eastpointe man was arrested May 26 after he was asked to leave Pat O'Brien's and could not pay his bill. The man was asked to leave by security, and when asked to pay his $35 bill, he said he could not pay his bill. Police were called and was told that he was being arrested for defrauding an innkeeper. Officers told him to place his hands behind his back, and refused to cooperate and had to be tasered before he was placed in handcuffs.

Domestic assault

A 45-year-old resident was arrested May 27 for an assault on her 33-year-old ex-boyfriend, and roommate. The woman is alleged to have charged at him with a screwdriver. He ran to his bedroom and locked the door, but she used the screwdriver to open the door and attacked him. She allegedly was screaming that he was "disrespecting her." The boyfriend's shirt was ripped, and had a long scratch on his forearm.  

Home invasion

Police were called to a home in the 29000 block of Jefferson for a well check. When police arrived, a door was open and several rooms were ransacked, and cash was reported stolen.
