St. Clair Shores Police Seeking Tips in Geese Deaths

Residents called St. Clair Shores Police Friday after two geese were hit and killed on Country Club Drive.

St. Clair Shores Police are seeking tips in the death of two geese that were struck and killed Friday morning on Country Club Drive.

Detectives do not have a description of the vehicle that struck, dismembered and killed the geese near the curb of roadway which runs through the residential area of the St. Clair Shores Country Club.

This is the second incident this year where multiple geese were killed by a driver. In August, Richard Lesko is alleged to have run over and killed two geese in front of his home. He is charged with two counts of killing an animal, which is a four-year felony, and will have a preliminary exam Nov. 2 in 40th District Court.
