St. Clair Shores Police are seeking two men who reportedly robbed an employee of the Dollar Tree at gun point Monday night in the St. Clair Shores Shopping Plaza.

The 26-year-old employee had closed the store and entered his vehicle when a light-skinned black male with short reddish-brown hair, in his late teens to early 20s, 5-feet 10-inches to 6-feet tall with a thin build approximately 160 to 180 pounds, and wearing a dark stocking cap, light color hoodie and jeans approached with a dark colored pistol.

The suspected entered the employee's vehicle and demanded the man's wallet, keys and cell phone. While the first suspect was going through the victim's pockets, a second suspect - described as a black male approximately 5-feet 10-inches tall,  approximately 180 pounds and wearing a dark colored hoodie - entered the vehicle to assist the other suspect.

Both men fled on foot to a waiting vehicle in the adjacent Kroger parking lot. The vehicle, described as a gray or tan 1990’s sedan with a different color front end or hood and a front quarter panel or hood that may have a primer color, left the area westbound on 13 Mile towards Little Mack.

St. Clair Shores police report the victim was not injured during the robbery.

Anyone with information about the robbery, or can identify the suspect, is asked to call the St. Clair Shores Police Department at (586) 445-5300.
