St. Clair Shores Police Continue Investigation into Deaths on Jane Street

St. Clair Shores Police are continuing their investigation into the deaths of two people Tuesday in a house on Jane Street.

St. Clair Shores Police are continuing their investigation into the deaths of two people Tuesday in a home in the 28000 block of Jane Street.

Police said they were called to the home about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday for a welfare check.

Officers observed an unresponsive male and female individual on the living room floor, and made a forced entry into the home.

Paramedics were called to the home, and confirmed the man in his 20s, and woman in her 30s, were deceased.

St. Clair Shores Police Lt. David Centala said the investigation is continuing with interviews and medical examinations. The names of the victims are not being released.

The Macomb County Medical Examiner's office said the cause of death is pending the results of toxicology reports, which could be returned within 6-8 weeks.
