St. Clair Shores Police Arrest Leopard Print Wearing Man Who Allegedly Exposed Himself

The following information is gathered from the St. Clair Shores Police Department. Arrests do not indicate conviction.

A 45-year-old Clinton Township man pleaded guilty to disorderly person in 40th District Court following an Oct. 9 arrest while wearing woman’s black knee-high tights and a women's halter top after he allegedly exposed himself to drivers on Little Mack Avenue in St. Clair Shores.

St. Clair Shores Police were called after Joseph Alfonsi allegedly was exposing himself near Little Mack and Meijer about 8:20 a.m. Oct. 9.

Officers were able to locate the vehicle and Alfonsi at a party store at Little Mack and Martin. According to reports, he had no shirt on and was wearing woman's knee high tights. As he entered the store he put on woman's leopard print halter top. Officers located him in the store looking at the adult magazine rack.

He was arrested on suspicion of obscene conduct and was wanted on a warrant from Clinton Township.

St. Clair Shores police also received a call from a Roseville resident in the 20000 block of Garden Court who described a man matching the description of Alfonsi who pulled into her driveway and asked for a local elementary school. The resident reported that he was not wearing a shirt and appeared to be wearing a leopard towel on his lap, and asked a lewd question before leaving the scene.

He pleaded guilty to disorderly person and was sentenced to 90 days in the Macomb County Jail.
