Report: St. Clair Shores Parent and Child Robbed at Macomb Mall

The Daily Tribune reports that a Detroit man took an iPhone from 11-year-old St. Clair Shores resident at Macomb Mall. He was later arrested by Roseville Police.

A 17-year-old Detroit man who reportedly stole an iPhone from an 11-year-old girl at Macomb Mall Monday has been arrested.

According to a report by The Daily Tribune, Aaron Purifoy is charged with unarmed robbery for taking the phone from the girl as she walked in the parking lot of Macomb Mall.

He fled in a waiting vehicle, but witnesses followed the vehicle and contacted Roseville Police. Officers from St. Clair Shores and Roseville stopped the car near 13 Mile and Harper.

Purifoy is being held on a $50,000 bond according to the report.
