Relative of Kwame Kilpatrick Reportedly Arrested in St. Clair Shores

Daniel Ferguson was arrested Saturday in St. Clair Shores after reportedly falling asleep at the wheel and driving while intoxicated, according to a report by WDIV-TV.

The brother-in-law of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was arrested Saturday in St. Clair Shores, according to a report by WDIV-TV.

Daniel Ferguson was arrested by police after he was reportedly found sleeping in the driver's seat of his truck at a green light at Harper and 11 Mile, according to the news report.

Furguson reportedly was defiant, and smelled of intoxicants. 

He was charged Monday operating while impaired, possession of marijuana, fingerprint refusal and refusal of a preliminary breath test. He was released on a $1,000 personal bond and will be back in court on Aug. 20, according to court records.
