Power Goes Out as Bashara's Former Mistress Takes the Stand

A power outage caused Bob Bashara preliminary exam to be adjourned Wednesday after testimony from witnesses including his former mistress and daughter.

The third day of the Bob Bashara's preliminary exam on murder charges was interrupted when the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice, and other buildings downtown, lost power, according to a story in The Detroit Free Press.

Rachel Gillett reportedly had just begun her testimony describing relationship when the power went out.

Jessica Bashara, who was away at college when her mother was killed, testified earlier in the day that she had caught her father looking at porn and that her parents relationship was "troubled," according to an article in The Detroit News.

The exam is scheduled to resume Thursday.
