Police Investigate Home Invasions, Windows Smashed Out

The following information was supplied by the St. Clair Shores police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Home invasions

  • Police were called to a home in the 25900 block of Madison Dec. 30 for a report of a home invasion. According to a police report, the kitchen window was opened and the entry door adjacent to the window had pry marks. The resident reported two televisions, blue ray player and Sony Playstation were reported stolen. 
  • A resident of the 22000 block of Blackburn reported Dec. 29 that someone broke into their home and stole items including a watch, change, a tablet and an iPod.
Windows smashed out

A resident in the 22900 block of Rosedale reported Dec. 29 hearing the front window of the house breaking, and then found the driver's side of the window of a Dodge Neon parked in the driveway broken out. The homeowner saw a possible suspect running westbound from the home.
