Police Investigate Armed Robbery at CVS

The following information is gathered from the St. Clair Shores Police Department. Arrests do not indicate conviction.

St. Clair Shores police are investigating an the early morning armed robbery Dec. 22 of the CVS at 27700 Harper. 

According to investigators, a male walked into the store and after waiting in line at a checkout counter approached the cashier and “calmly” stated that he had a gun and needed the money from the register.  

When the cash register drawer was open, the suspect removed the cash drawer and fled the store.

K-9 officers from St. Clair Shores and the Macomb County Sheriff's Office attempted to track the suspect, who was described as medium to light skinned black male, clean shaven, between 30 - 40 years old, approximately 6-feet tall and weighing between 170-180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray fleece jacket and black/white knit stocking cap.
