Police Blotter: Tool Theft, Stolen Vehicle Investigated

Tools stolen
A 31-year-old Roseville resident reported building tools were stolen from a home in the 22500 block of Hanson Court. The construction worker reported tools including a reciprocating saw, circular saw, drill bits, hand tools, tool box, carpet kicker, carpet seam iron, impact drill and power drill were taken from the home.
Missing jewelry, cash

A resident in the 27600 block of Ursuline reported June 27 that cash, gold necklace, diamond wedding, watch and antique watches were missing from the home following a block party on the street.
Stolen vehicle investigated

St. Clair Shores and Grosse Pointe Woods police are investigating the theft of a vehicle in the early morning hours of June 26 from the 22100 block of Sunnyside. A 37-year-old resident reported her vehicle was stolen. The same morning, Grosse Pointe Woods stopped three men who had the victim's purse. Police located the vehicle a short distance from her home, and are investigating the theft.
