Police Blotter: Marina Assault, Pipes Stolen

Marina assualt
A 39-year-old St. Clair Shores man is free on $1,000 bond for an alleged assault June 22 in Mario DeSantis is alleged to have observed his ex-girlfriend on a boat with her current boyfriend, a 43-year-old Grosse Pointe Woods man, and began yelling obscenities at the man. DeSantis is then alleged to have picked up a chair and thrown it at the Grosse Pointe Woods man. He was arrested for felonious assault and will return to 40th District Court July 6.
Pipes stolen

St. Clair Shores police are investigating the theft of copper piping June 26 from a vacant home in the 28300 block of Larchmont. Witnesses reported seeing a woman in a red car driving from the house.
Vehicle stolen

A 58-year-old resident reported June 23 that his Jeep Cherokee was stolen from Champs Auto Service.
Lawn equipment stolen
An 81-year-old St. Clair Shores resident in the 21000 block of 10 Mile reported June 21 that an edger was stolen from his shed.
