Police Blotter: Man Arrested After Courtroom Melee

A man appearing in 40th District Court argues with judge and then is arrested as he tries to flee the courtroom.

St. Clair Shores police are investigating a disturbance Tuesday in the after a defendant attempted to flee the courtroom.

Jonathan Keck, 21, was in court for a probation violation on a domestic violence case. 

During the proceedings he began arguing with Judge Joseph Oster and attempted to flee the courtroom. Court personnel and Macomb County Sheriff's deputies were able to restrain Keck, but not before he ripped the microphone off a witness stand in the courtroom.

He was restrained and sentenced to 93 days in the Macomb County Jail on the probation violation charge. He could face additional charges for the incident in court.
