Police Blotter: Electronics Taken from Cars; Shoplifter Arrested

Computer stolen

A 34-year-old St. Clair Shores resident reported a computer was stolen Dec. 20 from his car parked in the 22000 block of Frazho.

A 60-year-old resident reported that a cell phone was stolen from his car Dec. 20 from his car parked in the 22500 block of Van.

Domestic assault

A 49-year-old resident was arrested Dec. 18 after allegedly hitting his wife of 20 years in their home on the 23100 block of Socia. The man is charged with domestic violence and free on $5,000 personal bond, but is to have no contact with wife.

Alleged shoplifter arrested

A 49-year-old Mount Clemens man was arrested on Dec. 18 after allegedly trying to steal a razor, mini-clippers and Bluetooth headset from Kmart. Vincent Edwards is alleged to have been walking through the store and concealing items in his jacket. He is charged with retail fraud and is being held in the Macomb County Jail on a $3,000 bond.
