Police Blotter: Driver Stopped With Illegal Drugs

Driver alleged to have illegal drugs

A 23-year-old Detroit man was arraigned Monday on drug charges for suspicion of possessing illegal drugs. 

Brandon Hall was arrested Sunday after policed stopped him Sunday at 10 Mile and I-94 after making an illegal turn. When police checked his record, officers found he had 15 suspensions and had an improper license plate on his car. Following a search of his car, officers discovered he had bottles and baggies containing pills including acetaminophen, hydrocodone and marijuana.

He was arraigned Monday on charges of possession of a controlled substance, second offense, and driving while license suspended.

"I do have prescriptions for everything I had," Hall said in court Monday.

He is being held on $5,000 bond in the Macomb County Jail.
