Police Blotter: Break-In, Fight in St. Clair Shores

St. Clair Shores police responded to a variety of calls over the weekend.

St. Clair Shores police are investigating a home break-in in the 22600 block of Englehardt Street. A neighbor found a window smashed out in the back of the home April 1. Police were unable to find anything missing and were planning to meet with the homeowner to determine whether anything was stolen, according to reports. 

Fight follows party

St. Clair Shores police are investigating the theft of a laptop that was taken during an all-night party April 2 to 3. Officers discovered the theft after responding to a fight in the 25700 block of San Rosa Drive involving three men and one woman. Responding officers found a fight broke out after some of the party attendees approached another party attendee accusing him of stealing the computer. Officers searched a home for the laptop but didn't find it and made a report for it for the 25-year-old owner, according to a report.
