Police Blotter: Strong Arm Robbery

iPhone robbery

A 16-year-old St. Clair Shores resident reported Jan. 27 that a teenage male, about 17-years-old, 5-feet, 10-inches tall, wearing a black windbreaker and pants approached him in the 28800 block of Rockwood. The 17-year-old is alleged to have asked the other teen for the time, and when the teen pulled out his iPhone, he "strong-armed" the teen and stole the phone.

A resident reported Jan. 29 that someone broke into his garage in the 21800 block of Colony and stole a lawn mower, ladder, leaf blower and edger.

Home invasion

A homeowner in the 20000 block of Chalon reported someone broke into her home on Jan. 29 and stole jewelry and loose change. Additionally, whoever broke into the house ate strawberries from the refrigerator and left the container on the counter.

Fence damage

Officers are investigating damage to a wooden fence in the 100 block of Maple Park. The homeowner stated this is an ongoing issue.

Copper stolen

Police are investigating the theft of copper from a vacant home Jan. 31 in the 21100 block of Beaconsfield.

Light pole stolen

A 41-year-old resident reported seeing three men steal a light pole Jan. 31 that was sitting on a sidewalk near the intersection of Martin and Rosebriar.
