Men Charged in Exodus Armed Robbery to Stand Trial

The two men charged in the armed robbery of the Exodus Salon were bound over Friday to stand trial in Macomb Circuit Court.

The two men charged in a string of armed robberies in Metro Detroit, including the Exodus Salon, waived their preliminary exam Friday in 40th District Court and will stand trial in Macomb Circuit Court.

Larry Roosevelt, 34, and co-defendant Curtis Felton, 29, of Belleville, were to have their preliminary exams Friday on charges of armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and felony firearm for the Exodus robbery.

Before the proceedings began, both men agreed to waive their preliminary exam before Judge Joseph Oster and will be arraigned in Oct. 9 in Macomb Circuit Court.

Felton is being held in the Macomb County Jail on $250,000 bond, Roosevelt is being held on $1 million bond.

If convicted, both could face life in prison.
