K9 Helps Locate Missing St. Clair Shores Woman
St. Clair Shores police and a K9 unit from the Macomb County Sheriff's Department located a 76-year-old St. Clair Shores woman who wandered from her daughter's house, according to reports.
A 76-year-old woman suffering from dementia who wandered away from her daughter's St. Clair Shores home was discovered a few blocks away by a police tracking dog, according to a report on WXYZ-TV.
St. Clair Shores police were reportedly contacted after Rose Marie Hauler reportedly wandered from her daughter's house. Police contacted the Macomb County Sheriff's Department for a K9 tracking dog.
The dog was able to locate Hauler in a nearby yard. She is reportedly recovering in a local hospital.
