Police Seek Hit and Run Driver

Police are seeking tips from anyone who may have witnessed a hit and run accident about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on eastbound 9 Mile, just east of I-94, at West Industrial Dr.
According to investigators, an unidentified driver of a silver Porsche pulled into the path of a 51-year-old woman driving a motorcycle and knocked her to the pavement.
The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet but sustained injury and was treated at the hospital.
Police reported the driver of the Porsche failed to stop and identify themselves or render aid and fled the scene, continuing east on 9 Mile, then south on Pallister.
Witnesses reported that the license plate contained a "V" and a "5" or "8."
