Obituary: Former Councilman Joesph Krutell Served St. Clair Shores
Joseph Krutell, who served in a number of elected and volunteer positions in St. Clair Shores, died March 27, 2012.
Joseph Krutell, a former school teacher and active volunteer in St. Clair Shores, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012. He was 86.
Mr. Krutell taught for 36 years in the Grosse Pointe Public Schools. He also served six years on the Lakeview Board of Education and 18 years on the St. Clair Shores City Council.
He was also an active volunteer with the St. Clair Shores Democratic Club, St. Clair Shores Parade Council, St. Clair Shores Lions Club and St Clair Shores Library board.

Mr. Krutell is survived by two sons, Brian and Mark, and daughter Teresa Beaupre; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
