Funeral Arrangements for St. Clair Shores Residents who Died in Automobile Accident

Funeral arrangements have been set for Wesley A. Frasard Sr., Ledger "John" Frasard and William "Bill" Petrocy who died in an automobile accident in South Dakota.

Funeral arrangements have been finalized for the three St. Clair Shores residents who died in an automobile accident Nov. 7 in Mellette, S.D.

Visitation and services for brothers Wesley A. Frasard Sr., who worked for Frasard Electric, and Ledger "John" Frasard, a retired Grosse Pointe Shores Public Safety Officer and founder and owner of Frasard Electric, will be held at the Kaul Funeral Home in St. Clair Shores. Visitation and services for William "Bill" Petrocy, owner of Nick's Jewelry, will be held at the Kaul Funeral Home in Clinton Township.

Wesley A. Frasard Sr.
Wesley A. Frasard Sr., age 71, died in an automobile accident, along with his brother Ledger "John" Frasard, November 7, 2012 in Mellette, South Dakota. Beloved husband of Gerhilde. Loving father of Loraine (Richard) Crandall and Wesley (Tina) Frasard Jr. Dearest grandfather of Melissa, Michael, Shelby and Tyler. Dear brother of Patricia (the late Larry) Salis, June Rose (Cliff) Apers and the late Ledger "John" (Kathleen) Frasard Jr. Wesley served in the U.S. Marines and retired from the U. S. Air Force. He worked for Frasard Electric in St. Clair Shores, was a member of the Jefferson Lodge #553 F&AM, St. Clair Shores and recently became a Shriner. Visitation will be Wednesday 4-9 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. and Thursday 4-9 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores. Funeral Service Friday 10 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Ledger "John" Frasard Jr., age 68, died as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, along with his brother Wesley Frasard Sr., November 7, 2012 in Mellette, South Dakota. Beloved husband of Kathleen. Loving father of Pamela (Scott) Rice and Cheryl (Doug) Bruder. Dearest grandfather of Eric, Amanda and Aiden. Dear brother of Patricia (the late Larry) Salis, June Rose (Cliff) Apers and the late Wesley (Gerhilde) Frasard Sr. John retired from the Grosse Pointe Shores Police Department after 28 years of service as a Public Safety Officer. He also was the founder and owner of Frasard Electric in St. Clair Shores. Visitation will be Wednesday 4-9 p.m. and Thursday 4-9 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores. Funeral Service Friday 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family, who will donate to MICOPS.

William "Bill" Petrocy

William "Bill" Petrocy, age 77, died as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on November 7, 2012 in Mellette, South Dakota. Beloved life partner of Janiece Stahl. Loving father of Alice Petrocy and Susan (David) Pendy. Dearest grandfather of Nicky and Isabelle Pendy. Dear brother -in-law of Ruth Wilson Fain, Brenda Wilson, and Cathy (Paul) Gray. Favorite uncle of Robert, Matthew (Renee), William, Julie and Aya Petrocy. Bill's extended loving family includes Uncles, Aunts, cousins and so many who considered him a father, uncle, brother and friend. Remington, Bill's loving companion was also killed in the accident and will be interred with her master. Bill was predeceased in death by his parents Nicholas and Alice (nee Gloss) Petrocy, brother Robert Petrocy and former wife Wanda (nee Wilson) Petrocy. Bill was the Proprietor of Nick's Jewelry, St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Past Potentate Moslem Shrine Center, life member of Jefferson Masonic Lodge #553 F&AM, Director Shrine Circus, Board of Governor Emeritus Shriner's Hospital for Children, Erie, PA. Memorial visitation Wednesday 3-9 p.m. and Thursday from 3 p.m. until time of Shrine and Masonic services at 7 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Township. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, Erie, PA; or Fifth Third Bank for the benefit of Tom Thorngate. So mote it be.
