Sights and Sounds from the Christmas Tree Lighting in St. Clair Shores

Santa Claus helped city officials ring in the holiday season at the annual St. Clair Shores Christmas tree lighting ceremony at City Hall.

St. Clair Shores held its Christmas tree lighting ceremony at City Hall on Friday with caroling, dance performances and a visit from Santa Claus.

Following the ceremony which included Santa receiving the key to the city from Mayor Kip Walby, a reading of "A Night Before Christmas" and dance performance, families walked to Roe on In Café and told Santa and Mrs. Claus their Christmas lists and placed ornaments on a tree that will be donated to a family in need.
