Shop the Shores for Last Minute Christmas Gifts

Organizations, city agencies and departments have a number of gift options for Christmas.

Shoppers in a pinch for last minute Christmas gifts can literally shop the Shores for gifts.

Here are some suggestions from city-related agencies, departments and committees:

  • Membership in the Senior Activities Center for Active Adults for those 50 and over. A one-year members is $25 for residents, and $40 for non-residents.
  • A St. Clair Shoresopoly Game. Own a piece of the city for only $25 in the game modeled after Atlantic City. Proceeds from the game benefit the St. Clair Shores Senior Center for Active Adults and the Lac Ste. Claire Kiwanis Military Family Relief fund. The game comes with a sheet with nearly $1,000 worth of coupons. Games can be purchased at the Senior Center.
  • Gift certificates for the cafe at the Senior Activities Center. Certificates can be sold in $4 increments. 
  • Hand-made jewelry, locally-themed products and unique gifts are sold at the Friends of the Library Gift Shop in the Cafe at the Library.
  • Gifts certificates can be purchased for the Roe on In Cafe in the library which can be used for freshly made sandwiches, soups and coffees.
  • The St Clair Shores Cultural Committee Art Mart on 9 Mack Drive (in the former Artisan Knit Shop) will be open for their final weekend Saturday and Sunday.
  • Purchase items to support the upcoming Aqua Freeze Festival at Embroidery & Much More and Gilbert's Hardware.
  • A boat well at Lac Ste Claire Harbor.
  • Gift certificates for future rounds at the St. Clair Shores Golf Club, or golf equipment and apparel from the pro shop.
  • Local postcards, maps and prints of St. Clair Shores from the library.
  • A new garbage can from Rizzo Services.The 64-gallon containers are $38 each, and the 96-gallon containers are $43 each.
