Class Ring Found in Lake St. Clair After 20 Years

WDIV reported the class ring of a 1986 graduate of South Lake High School that was lost in Lake St. Clair more than 20 years ago was recently recovered, and returned to its owner, who happened to be swimming in the same location when it was found.

A graduate was swimming recently in area of Lake St. Clair where she lost her class ring more than 20 years ago when a 12-year-old found the missing piece of jewelry.

A young girl was swimming in the area, and found the ring on the bottom of the lake. The South Lake graduate happened to be near the girl when the class ring was discovered, according to the report on WDIV.

According to the report, the ring was still in good condition.
