Rodgers Students and Staff Donate Toys For Cops For Kids

Rodgers students and staff delivered toys for Cops for Kids Friday, and will be conducting a food drive this week.

Students and staff at Rodgers Elementary School donated toys for needy children in the community.

Staff from the elementary school delivered enough boxes of toys Friday to fill the police SUV used by community resource officer Kevin Kimm. The toys will be distributed to families in need through the Cops for Kids charity.

The school is holding a food drive this week, and if 1,000 items are donated, principal Cindy Sam will dress up as the Grinch.
