Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

Tickets are still available for the George Walters Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser, 12-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, at the St. Louis Social Hall in Clinton Township.

Proceeds from the event benefit cancer patient George Walters, a member of the St. Louis community, and his family of six. George, his wife Nicole, and their four boys, ages 2-10, live in Harrison Township.

The family is active at St. Louis, as well Graham Elementary, part of the L'Anse Creuse district, where the children attend school. George was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor last summer at the age of 42.

Ongoing 50/50 raffles and prize auctions will be held throughout the day.

Advance tickets are $8 for adults, $10 at the door; kids 2 to 12 are $6 in advance and $8 at the door; children under 2 are free. For advance ticket information, call (586) 996-3861.
