Caffe Far Bella is hosting a donation and shopping event for Mount Clemens-based Handbags of Hope.
The volunteer organization collects new and gently used purses, along with items to fill those handbags, which are given to women in shelters in Macomb County and around the state.
Nearly 500 purses have been doanted to coffee shop thus far, but additional handbags, hairbrushes, manicure sets and other items which could be used for women of all ages.
