Binson’s Home Health Care is hosting a cut-a-thon for Wigs 4 Kids from 2-6 p.m. Monday at all seven locations.
Participants can donate 10 inches of unprocessed hair and make a $20 donation at locations in Troy, Sterling Heights, Southgate, Eastpointe, Center Line, Royal Oak and Livonia to support the St. Clair Shores-based charity which provides wigs and support services to Michigan children in need at no cost.
“It takes 10-12 ponytails to make one wig for a child in need and to sponsor a wig and support services for a child through our Adopt-a-Kid program, the cost is $800. We are grateful to Binson’s Home Health Care for hosting cut-a-thons and to the community for supporting them to help defray these costs.” Wigs 4 Kids Founder & CEO, Maggie Varney stated in a release.
