Detroit Sportsmen's Congress Winterfest and Shooting Competition

The
Clinton River Muzzleloaders will hold their annual Winterfest beginning at 10
a.m. on Sunday, February 10, at the Detroit Sportsmen’s Congress, 49800 Dequindre Road in Shelby Township.


The public is invited to watch and/or participate in the 15-shot woods-walk match.
The competition will feature primitive and novelty targets and tomahawk and
knife throwing, along with separate divisions for traditional rifles, smoothbores, Civil War muskets, “smooth” rifles and in-lines.


Traditional costume is requested for those shooting
traditional arms.

Registration is from 9 a.m. to noon (there is no
pre-registration). Events begin at 10 a.m. Cost is $15 for first shooter and $25
per family. Cost for Juniors 15 and under is $1.00.
