Annual Tour de Cure - American Diabetes Association

Enjoy a beautiful day of riding on Saturday, June 15, 2013 in downtown Brighton at this year’s Tour de Cure, one of the American Diabetes Association’s signature fundraising events.  With over 200 volunteers taking care of your day of event needs you are sure to enjoy an excellent day of riding whether you choose one of our road routes (10, 25, 50, 62, & 100 miles) or opt to do one of our mountain biking routes which will on trails in the Brighton Recreation Area (5, 9 & 14 miles). The Tour de Cure starts and finishes at Brighton High School.  It includes stocked rest stops, on-course medical and SAG support, a catered lunch, complimentary massage and live entertainment at the finish.  An additional lunch stop will be provided on our 62 & 100-mile routes.  A minimum goal of $200 in fundraising is required per rider, and all funds go to support research, education and advocacy for all types of diabetes.  If you have diabetes be sure to register online as a RED RIDER and be recognized for your courage in living with diabetes every day.  All riders will also receive a T-shirt and goodie bag the day of the ride.  Ride for an excellent cause and help to STOP DIABETES in Michigan.  For more information please visit http://main.diabetes.org/southeastMItourdecure or call 248-433-3830, ext. 6694.
