The Friends of the St. Clair Shores Public Library will hold a bargain book sale on Saturday, August 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. outdoors near the main entrance of the library. The Friends sale, weather-permitting, will be concurrent with the Historical Society of St. Clair Shores white elephant/trunk sale in the library parking lot and grounds of the Selinsky-Green Farmhouse Museum. At the Friends bargain book sale, hardcover and softcover books will be offered for $1. The library is located at 22500 Eleven Mile Road at Jefferson. For more information, call 586-771-9020.
