Viewfinder: Lake Shore Students Host Chinese/American Student Summit

Shorians welcome more than 250 students to MISD to celebrate Chinese/American Summit

students hosted a gala event Thursday for more than 250 high schoolers from around Macomb County as well as 53 students from Beijing Haidian Foreign Language School in Beijing, China, for a summit to celebrate the differing lifestyles and cultures of both countries.

Lake Shore has been on the leading edge of the , and led the second Chinese/American Student Summit.

Distinguished guests, along with keynote speaker Assistant Macomb County Executive and Lake Shore High alum , gathered at the event.
