Shores Day Planner: Sept. 15

Five things to get your day, and weekend, started in St. Clair Shores.

Here are a few items to help you get your day started.

1. The National Weather Service is forecasting a cool end to the week with mostly sunny skies and a high near 61. There will be a north wind between 5 and 8 miles per hour.

2. Our Lady of Hope holds its this weekend, kicking off with a 5:30 p.m., tropical themed-parade Friday afternoon at Gaffke Park. Then, throughout the weekend enjoy drawings, children's rides, Vegas games, fast food, bake sales and much more at the , Sept. 16-18.

3. The will be held in Veterans Memorial Park, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 17 and 18. Dozens of artists, a kids tent, food, fun and more will be featured at the free event.
