Macomb County Under Winter Storm Warning

A winter storm warning for Macomb County has been declared by the National Weather Service.

Macomb County is under a winter storm warning until 7 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Heavy snow will persist through the night with an additional accumulation of 2-6 inches. There will also be "brisk" northeast winds of 15-25 miles per hour that will cause blowing and drifting snow.

The high winds will also cause travel difficulties with slippery roads and limited visibilties.
