Video: Hurricane Sandy Winds Blowing Strong on Lake St. Clair

Hurricane Sandy's reach continues to affect Lake St. Clair, and shoreline communities, where strong winds continue to whip across the waterway.

The National Weather Service is reporting that storm and gale force winds will persist through Tuesday morning on Lake St. Clair before diminishing later in the day as the remnants of Hurricane Sandy move north along the Eastern Seaboard.

Gale warnings remain in effect with until 8 p.m. Tuesday, with gusts reaching 45 knots.

The full force of the storm could be felt along the Lake St. Clair waterfront, where wind-driven waves crashed over the fishing pier behind Blossom Heath Inn in St. Clair Shores.
