Grab & Go Kids Planner: Book Sales and Healthy Kids Day

Why Go: The library is holding its Spring Book Sale where you can enjoy blockbuster bargains on books, music, DVDs and videocassettes.

Why Go: See L'Anse Creuse High School's drama students bring Roald Dahl's childhood classic Fantastic Mr. Fox to life on stage.

Why Go: Lakeshore Family YMCA is hosting Healthy Kids Day, free and open to everyone in the community. Bring everyone for a chance to check out the "Y" for free.

Where/When: Metro Beach Metropark, Harrison Township; Saturday, all day.

Why Go: It's time to clean up Metro Beach once again. Volunteers are needed to pick up litter to make a more beautiful, healthy park.

Pricing: Free. Park entry fees waived for volunteers.

MOM-TO-MOM SALES

Where/When: and ; Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Why Go: If you love bargains, make a morning of it at these two sales. St. Joan of Arc School's Parent Teacher Guild is holding its which includes a bake sale. And Greenwood Elementary School is holding a , the perfect way to score some great bargains. Stop in and shop for clothing, accessories and more.

Pricing: Admission is $2 for early birds, $1 regular at each sale.
