Forecast: Slight Chance of a White Christmas

St. Clair Shores may be joining Bing Crosby in "dreaming" of a white Christmas according to the snow forecast from the Weather Channel.

Christmas is just four days away and it looks as if lawns will be as green as holly, according to the forecast from The Weather Channel.

There is a "slight" chance of a white Christmas according to the Weather Channel forecast, with temperatures in the 40s today and Thursday before dropping into the 30s this weekend.

During the next four days, there is only a 20 percent chance of precipitation on Friday—not exactly the forecast for those hoping to have St. Clair Shores covered in a blanket of snow for holiday happenings.

In fact, the Weather Channel reports that the National Climatic Data Center has defined a white Christmas as one with at least one inch of snow on the ground on Christmas morning.
