Dense Fog Advisory in Effect; Thunderstorms Coming This Afternoon

A dense fog advisory is in effect through 11 a.m. Monday.

A dense fog advisory is in effect until 11 a.m. Monday for much of southeast Michigan, according to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac.

Areas of dense fog will reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less this morning, making traveling difficult. If you are driving, slow down, use your headlights and leave plenty of space between you and other vehicles, says the weather service.
